Senior Fund Accounting Officer - Consolidation

About the role

A leading investor services group, which offers administration, accounting, reporting, regulatory and compliance services to the investment sector worldwide, is hiring a Senior Fund Accounting Officer in Luxembourg City. The role manages the day-to-day accounting and administration of a portfolio of funds, with a focus on consolidation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day accounting and administration of a portfolio of funds, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, NAV calculations and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare year-end financial statements, regulatory filings (CSSF/BCL), VAT and subscription tax returns, and coordinate external audits and tax advisors.
• Act as a key client contact, resolving operational issues and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the launch of new fund structures, including SICARs and unregulated entities, and ensure compliance with internal controls and ISAE 3402 requirements.
• Mentor and support junior team members, oversee deliverables, manage competing deadlines and contribute to process improvements and risk escalation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or Finance; ACCA is a great asset.
• 4-6 years of accounting experience, mainly in Private Equity and Real Estate services.
• Fluent English, French and/or German are desirable.

Required skills

• IFRS or consolidation experience is a great asset.
• Experience with Yardi or similar ERP is a plus.
• Exposure to LuxGAAP and EVCA/INREV/IPEVC guidelines is an asset.
