Senior Depositary Oversight Officer

About the role

A leading Investor Services group, offering end-to-end administration, accounting, reporting and regulatory and compliance services for the investment sector worldwide, is hiring a Senior Depositary Oversight Officer in Luxembourg City. You will manage a portfolio of investors in Real Estate, Private Equity, Debt and Fund of Funds, ensuring customer-centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee client onboarding and perform due diligence on third parties (AIFM, Central Administration, Custodian Bank)
• Supervise fund activities in compliance with AIFMD, SIF, SICAR and RAIF regulations
• Collect and review transactional documents, safeguard and verify asset ownership, monitor cash flows and ensure accurate valuations and year-end asset positions
• Prepare and issue internal portfolio reports, give timely feedback to management, escalate risks and ensure proper billing and recovery of outstanding invoices
• Ensure compliance with evolving legislation and regulatory standards, report operational risks or complaints and maintain robust oversight controls for Luxembourg-domiciled funds

Required profile

• 4-5 years of experience in depositary/custody functions, gained in a depositary bank or through audit or fund accounting roles
• Strong expertise in Private Equity and Real Estate markets, with desirable exposure to fund accounting
• Solid knowledge of the regulatory environment for depositaries
• University degree in Finance or Accounting
• Fluent English; French or German is an advantage
