Junior AML/KYC Officer

About the role

IQ-EQ, part of a leading Investor Services group serving the administration, accounting, reporting, regulatory and compliance needs of the investment sector worldwide, is hiring a Junior AML/KYC Officer in Luxembourg City. The role covers AML/KYC reviews and investor file preparation for individuals, companies, trusts, foundations and regulated entities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct AML/KYC reviews and prepare investor files for various entity types
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and risk management standards throughout onboarding
• Liaise with auditors, AIFMs, depositaries, compliance teams and management to collect, review and follow up on KYC documentation
• Perform screening, filing and verification of KYC records and respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders
• Build client relationships, identify process improvements and contribute to an efficient, customer-focused onboarding experience

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in economics, finance or a related field; recent graduates preferred
• 0-1 year of experience in AML/KYC, compliance or a related function is a valuable asset
• Fluent English; French or German is an advantage
• Self-motivated and a collaborative team player who takes ownership of their work
