Process Management Consultant - Bank Processes (m/f/d)

About the role

Riverty, a payment solutions provider part of the family-owned Bertelsmann group, is hiring a Process Management Consultant for bank processes in Luxembourg. The consultant designs, implements and maintains a process management framework for a newly licensed bank, building and keeping up-to-date process documentation that meets regulatory, governance and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the bank-wide process management framework, including process hierarchies, ownership structures, roles, responsibilities and governance mechanisms.
• Keep process documentation complete, accurate and audit-ready, translating CSSF, ECB, EBA and other supervisory requirements into operational controls and governance standards.
• Define methodologies and standards for process modelling, documentation, maintenance and review, and set up ways to prove compliant process execution to regulators, auditors and internal control functions.
• Support the Three Lines of Defense model by defining process ownership, control responsibilities and oversight activities.
• Identify process risks, control gaps and regulatory weaknesses and drive their remediation.
• Work with Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit and business stakeholders to design and document controls and control evidence, and support inspections and audits.
• Advise business and operational teams on efficient, scalable and compliant target operating processes, and establish governance structures for ongoing monitoring and improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in process management within banking or other highly regulated financial services environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business, risk, compliance and audit functions.
• Professional proficiency in English is mandatory; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Process modelling standards such as BPMN and process management/GRC tools.
• BPMN 2.0 and Lean Six Sigma.
