Risk Analyst B2B (m/f/d)

About the role

Riverty, a family-owned Bertelsmann group company enabling flexible payments for brands and helping people repay debt, is looking for a Risk Analyst B2B for its Risk Analytics team in Client Underwriting. The role is hands-on, focused on improving risk decisions for B2B customers in terms of affordability and solvency, and contributes to defining and monitoring the B2B risk strategy. It is an unlimited, full-time position with flexible working conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the redesign of B2B underwriting models, including scorecards, decision engines, rule sets and rating methodologies.
• Improve data analysis and business processes to support B2B product expansion in new countries.
• Build harmonized multi-country credit frameworks adapted to local markets, regulations and data availability.
• Establish best practices for ad-hoc and deep-dive analyses.
• Partner with Data Science to build and deploy ML-based credit models for B2B customers.
• Enhance reporting frameworks, dashboards and risk KPIs to support leadership decisions.
• Work closely with Risk Product, Fraud Risk Steering, Data Science, Finance and other functions.

Required profile

• Significant experience in B2B risk analytics, ideally in BNPL, lending, payments or fintech.
• Experience in a credit risk management environment.
• Experience in an international, agile, cross-functional environment.
• English mandatory; German or Dutch is a plus.

Required skills

• Programming languages such as SQL, Python or R for complex analytical tasks.
• Understanding of data and advanced analytics.

Preferred locations are Germany (Berlin, Verl), Luxembourg or the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Heerenveen).
