Financial Services Consultant (m/f/d)

About the role

PwC Luxembourg is hiring a Financial Services Consultant (m/f/d) for its Financial Services Transformation Consulting team, which works in the Banking and Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) industries. The team supports clients from strategy through operations, systems and change management, and the consultant joins as a fully integrated member of the team, working closely with experienced management consultants and directly with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Help clients define strategy, operating models and processes
• Advise on systems and solutions based on client needs and business requirements
• Assist clients in improving performance in areas such as organisation, project management, operational tasks, process implementation and data analytics
• Carry out market studies and benchmarking exercises
• Contribute to business development through research, discussion papers and ideas
• Help create offers and proposals for clients
• Build expertise in regulatory and operational frameworks and market practices in banking and AWM
• Support the team in building trusted relationships and developing new services and solutions

Required profile

• Degree from a university, engineering school or business school
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a bank, management company or consulting firm
• Exposure to management consulting or the financial sector through previous roles or internships
• Solid understanding of key concepts, drivers and recent trends in banking and asset and wealth management
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving and critical judgment, with initiative and independence
• Fluent spoken and written English and German

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office tools
• Additional skills in VBA, PowerBI, Alteryx or similar are a plus
