Accounting Trainee I (End-of-Study Internship)

About the role

PwC Luxembourg is recruiting an Accounting Trainee I for its Tax line of service within Private Equity, as part of Global Compliance Services. The role is an end-of-study internship lasting at least three months, where you work alongside experienced professionals supporting local and international clients, collaborating with Accounting colleagues and specialists from other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Support the accounting and legal follow-up of a portfolio of local and international clients across different business sectors.
• Contribute to day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping support and help preparing annual accounts.
• Take part in consolidation, due diligence and reporting assignments under supervision.
• Assist with accounting analysis of transactions such as mergers, acquisitions and liquidations.
• Deliver accurate, timely accounting outputs and support client relationships through clear communication and reliable follow-up.

Required profile

• Final-year student of a Master's degree in economics or management.
• Minimum three-month end-of-study internship.
• English and French at B2 level (professional working proficiency).
• Logic, teamwork, openness to feedback, integrity and confidentiality.

Required skills

• A specialisation in accounting is an advantage.
• German language skills are also an advantage.
