(Senior) Manager Tax Consulting - Alternative Investments

About the role

PwC is looking for a Manager or Senior Manager in its Corporate Tax Consulting team, which advises international and Luxembourg-based clients in financial services, investment funds, private equity, real estate and multinational corporate sectors. The role combines technical tax expertise, client relationship management and team leadership, working with tax specialists in Luxembourg and across the global PwC network.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand a portfolio of international and local clients by building trusted relationships and understanding their business objectives.
• Lead the delivery of complex corporate and international tax consulting projects with practical, high-quality and commercially relevant outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for additional tax and multidisciplinary solutions and contribute to business development.
• Coordinate with specialists across PwC Luxembourg and the global network on complex cross-border matters.
• Lead client interactions, represent the team in meetings, conferences and professional events, and coach, develop and retain a team of tax professionals.
• Contribute to technical expertise through internal and external training and thought leadership activities.

Required profile

• Masters degree (or equivalent) in Law, Economics, Business Administration or a related field, ideally with a specialization in Tax.
• 5 to 11 years of experience in international tax within a tax advisory firm, audit firm, law firm or financial institution.
• Fluent English (CEFR level to be confirmed); Luxembourg tax experience is an asset.
• Ability to build client relationships, identify business opportunities and contribute to practice growth.

Required skills

• Corporate and international tax consulting expertise at advanced level, leading and advising.
• Experience in international tax.
