Collection Manager – Consumer Credit (Relocation to Luxembourg)

About the role

As the Collection Manager for Consumer Credit, you will lead the end‑to‑end collection strategy for our consumer lending portfolio, driving data‑centric and AI‑enabled approaches while ensuring compliance and customer fairness. The role is based in Luxembourg and requires relocation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute data‑driven collection strategies using advanced analytics and predictive models tailored to different risk profiles.
• Develop AI‑powered collection approaches, including next‑best‑action logic, predictive contact strategies, and intelligent account prioritisation.
• Personalise customer engagement by defining differentiated communication strategies, adapting tone, channel, and timing based on behaviour.
• Optimise performance and ROI by owning key KPIs such as recovery rates, roll rates, and cost‑to‑collect.
• Guarantee service levels and regulatory compliance while balancing effectiveness with fairness.
• Collaborate with Finance, Product, Data, Legal and external collection agencies to manage the ecosystem.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in consumer credit collections (e.g., BNPL, unsecured/secured credit).
• Background in fintech, modern banking or financial services.
• Familiarity with the SEPA payment framework is a strong plus.
• Strong data and analytical mindset, comfortable with large datasets and segmentation models.
• Experience applying AI in collections, such as predictive scoring or automated decisioning.
• Strategic thinker with proven execution capabilities.
• Customer‑centric approach to influence behaviour through tailored communication.
