Business Development Associate – France & Benelux

About the role

Franklin Templeton is seeking a Business Development Associate to support its France & Benelux Distribution team. You will act as a primary contact for professional investors, help drive new‑business opportunities, and collaborate with senior sales leaders across Paris, Luxembourg, Brussels and Amsterdam.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for professional‑investor clients, delivering high‑quality service and supporting senior sales leaders in pre‑ and post‑sales activities.
• Coordinate meetings, roadshows, client events and attend selected client meetings.
• Identify new business opportunities, maintain an accurate sales pipeline, and contribute to account planning and relationship management.
• Track market, regulatory and client developments and build expertise in Franklin Templeton’s investment strategies.
• Prepare responses to RFPs, due‑diligence questionnaires and ad‑hoc client requests in partnership with internal teams.
• Leverage AI, digital tools and automation to improve reporting and processes.
• Support the Head of Region by monitoring results and drafting business‑strategy presentations.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in asset management, financial services, client service, sales support or business development.
• Exposure to the France or Benelux wealth‑management markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch and other European languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of investment funds and asset‑management products.
• Ability to work with data, reporting and documentation.
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence, digital tools and automation.
