Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Officer – Luxembourg

About the role

We are partnering with the Luxembourg office of an international private equity firm to expand their compliance team. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, the AML Officer will ensure that all investor onboarding and ongoing monitoring activities meet Luxembourg AML/CFT standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute AML/CFT procedures for the AIFM, including investor onboarding and continuous monitoring.
• Determine required KYC documentation for complex entities and maintain up‑to‑date investor AML/KYC files.
• Conduct annual reviews and risk‑based monitoring of investors.
• Track pending AML/KYC documentation and respond to related queries within agreed timeframes.
• Prepare, review, and update AML reports and internal guidelines.
• Support audit activities, internal/external reviews, and QA exercises.
• Provide AML/KYC advice to internal teams, banks, notaries, and subsidiaries.
• Deliver training sessions on regulatory changes and maintain awareness of the evolving AML landscape.

Required profile

• Valid work visa for Luxembourg or EU passport.
• 1‑2 years experience as an AML/KYC Officer at an AIFM in Luxembourg.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg AML laws, especially CSSF circulars and regulations.
• Fluent English; French and/or German are a distinct advantage.
