Squad Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Squad Lead to drive end‑to‑end delivery for a key client in Luxembourg. You will own the full lifecycle of squad workstreams, ensuring technical excellence and seamless production deployment while collaborating closely with senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery accountability across all squad workstreams and applications, from technical architecture and Kanban flow to production deployment.
• Manage cross‑application dependencies and lead the technical shift strategy, acting as the single project‑management interface with the head of unit and senior management.
• Coach the squad, drive continuous improvement and coordinate decisions with the Product Owner, Technical Lead and QA Lead.
• Translate technical complexity into clear business‑level status and risk communication.

Required profile

• University degree in a related field.
• Minimum 11 years of experience in software engineering, including roles as team lead or technical lead.
• Proven delivery accountability with ownership of outcomes.
• Fluent English (minimum B2).
• Willingness to work on‑site in Luxembourg three days a week.

Required skills

• Java development.
• JavaScript and React development.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Kanban, including WIP management and flow metrics.
• Experience with technical migrations or platform shifts.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and release management.
