Solutions Integration Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Solutions Integration Engineer to design, implement and support secure, resilient system integrations throughout the full solution lifecycle. The role works under the DevSecOps Team Leader and reports to the Head of Service Support and IT, contributing to our Europe‑wide sustainable energy trading platform.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver secure, resilient software solutions from design through deployment using automated pipelines.
• Implement and enhance system integrations with built‑in security controls and compliance checks.
• Provide second‑level support for operational issues and maintain high‑availability services.
• Develop comprehensive monitoring, alerting and predictive analytics to prevent service degradations.
• Participate in code reviews, reconcile differing opinions and follow established best practices.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation for solutions, integrations and security controls.
• Assess impact and risk of proposed solutions and communicate decisions to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives aligned with DevSecOps principles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Fluent English with strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevSecOps, integration or infrastructure engineering.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Windows operating systems.
• Linux RHEL environments.
• Networking protocols such as SSH, SSL/TLS, HTTPS, DNS and SFTP.
• Version control systems: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket.
• Scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and security controls.
