About the role
The Payroll and Benefits Specialist will manage the end‑to‑end payroll process for Apex Group employees in Luxembourg, ensuring compliance with local regulations and delivering a high level of service to staff.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee payroll processing with the external vendor, guaranteeing accuracy and adherence to Luxembourg practices.
- Ensure compliance with taxes, social security, and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare, verify and process monthly payroll.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee payroll queries.
- Liaise with finance to secure timely salary bookings.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance on payroll data management.
- Support audits, tax authority salary checks and ad‑hoc projects.
- Handle employee benefits administration, renewals and reporting.
Required profile
- Degree in Business Studies or a comparable qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Payroll Specialist.
- Knowledge of Luxembourg payroll legislation; banking collective agreement knowledge is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication in English; French or German is an asset.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
