About the role
CMS Luxembourg is expanding its Business Development, Marketing & Communications team and seeks a Business Development Officer to support strategic growth, client initiatives, and market positioning. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will work closely with partners and lawyers across all practice groups.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate firm‑wide and practice‑level business development activities, tracking client, sector and market opportunities.
- Prepare and manage pitches and proposals, ensuring consistency, quality and relevance.
- Maintain BD infrastructure such as CRM, credentials and pitch materials, keeping data accurate and up‑to‑date.
- Support client development campaigns, including communications, events and engagement activities.
- Manage legal directory submissions to enhance the firm’s external profile.
Required profile
- Experience in Business Development or Account Management, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong execution‑focused mindset with a structured, methodical approach.
- Excellent written and analytical abilities, capable of turning complex inputs into clear messaging.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
- Proactive, hands‑on attitude.
