Accountant

About the role

Broad Street Luxembourg, part of the Goldman Sachs group, is seeking an Accountant to support its finance team. The role offers a balance of work‑life flexibility and exposure to a diverse, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Prepare interim, monthly, quarterly and annual accounts.
• Conduct GAAP reconciliations across US GAAP, UK GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS.
• Calculate tax provisions and review tax returns.
• Liaise with external advisors, auditors, joint‑venture partners and asset managers.
• Coordinate reporting with internal and international Goldman Sachs departments.
• Respond to accounting queries and ensure administrative compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• 1‑2 years of accounting or financial control experience in Luxembourg, preferably with exposure to private‑equity, real‑estate or debt investments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet management.
