Web Editorial Specialist

About the role

As a Web Editorial Specialist at Netcompany you will shape the digital presence of our clients by creating, curating and optimizing web content. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure the sites are engaging, accurate and aligned with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and curate content across client websites, maintaining consistency and user engagement.
• Create, edit and proofread landing pages, news articles, event announcements, speeches and other digital communications.
• Administer website content using CMS platforms such as WordPress and Drupal, handling formatting, metadata, tagging and structure.
• Apply SEO best practices, conduct keyword research and optimise content for visibility and accessibility.
• Monitor website performance with analytics tools (e.g., Piwik), produce reports and recommend data‑driven improvements.
• Collaborate with content owners, developers, social media specialists and audiovisual teams to launch new features and campaigns.
• Perform regular content audits to keep information relevant, accurate and compliant.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of web publishing processes and digital communication strategies.

Required profile

• University degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• Full professional proficiency in English (C1); French is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in web editing.

Required skills

• Content Management Systems: WordPress, Drupal.
• Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and keyword research.
• HTML/CSS.
• Web analytics tools (e.g., Piwik).
• Graphic design tools: Adobe Photoshop, Canva.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles.
