VIE Data Analyst – Sales Management

About the role

Support Société Générale Private Banking Luxembourg’s commercial and financial performance by turning data into actionable insights for management and business teams. The VIE will work across the full data value chain, from collection to strategic recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate and monitor data from multiple sources; develop and maintain Python scripts to automate processing and controls.
• Design and enhance Power BI dashboards, develop KPIs and visualisations to support decision‑making.
• Monitor key business indicators (AUM, NNM, revenues, commercial activity) and conduct ad‑hoc analyses to identify trends and opportunities.
• Support client segmentation, business‑development analyses and strategic projects with market and client insights.
• Identify and explore new data‑analytics and AI use cases to improve commercial performance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Quantitative Finance or a related field.
• Previous exposure to banking, asset‑management or financial‑services industry is a plus.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python for data processing, analytics and automation.
• Sound knowledge of SQL and relational database management systems.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI platforms.
• Understanding of APIs and data‑integration techniques.
• Familiarity with modern Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures.
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI and Machine Learning.
