Tax Manager / Assistant Manager – Alternative Investments

About the role

KPMG Luxembourg is looking for a Tax Manager (or Assistant Manager) to join its Alternative Investments team. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients operating in real estate, private equity, private debt and infrastructure, delivering modern tax services and data‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in projects for clients active in the alternative investments sector.
• Provide tax structuring and tax due‑diligence advice.
• Manage a portfolio of national and international clients and develop strong client relationships.
• Contribute to the growth of the tax practice and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate closely with consultants and colleagues worldwide.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Finance or Tax Law.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate tax advisory, preferably within alternative investments.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg tax legislation.
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Fluent in English; French, Luxembourgish or German are a plus.
