SPV Accountant – Private Equity/Real Estate/Private Debt

About the role

We are seeking an SPV Accountant to join a leading financial services provider in Luxembourg. The role focuses on accounting for private equity, real estate, and private debt special purpose vehicles, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain records of all financial transactions for SPVs.
• Prepare interim, annual, monthly and quarterly accounts and reports.
• Perform GAAP reconciliation across US GAAP, UK GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS.
• Calculate tax provisions and review tax returns.
• Liaise with external tax advisors, auditors, joint‑venture partners, asset and property managers.
• Coordinate with internal and international departments, responding to accounting queries.
• Prepare distribution memorandums and ensure administrative compliance and filing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• 1‑3 years of experience in accounting for Private Equity, Real Estate or Private Debt SPVs within a service provider or financial institution.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, accurately and with good organisational skills.
