Senior Project Manager (Programme Governance)

About the role

VASS BeNeLux, in partnership with the European Commission, is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead programme governance for large‑scale digital transformation and ERP initiatives. You will work closely with multi‑disciplinary teams to ensure the programme delivers its objectives on time and within scope.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain programme governance structures and processes.
• Develop and keep the integrated programme plan, roadmap and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate activities across all workstreams and manage dependencies.
• Prepare and facilitate governance meetings, produce meeting materials, status reports and dashboards.
• Manage risks, issues and action logs at programme level.
• Support stakeholder communication, alignment and decision‑making.
• Track Target Operating Model (TOM) deliverables and approvals.
• Assist with ERP tool selection coordination and related documentation.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of programme management and governance principles.
• 5+ years (typically 8–10+ years) of PMO experience in large‑scale transformation or ERP programmes.
• Proven ability to plan, coordinate and track complex programmes with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience establishing steering committees, reporting cycles and decision frameworks.
• Background in multi‑stakeholder environments involving business, IT and vendors.
