Senior Payroll Implementation Specialist (Netherlands & Belgium)

About the role

Join Remote’s Global Payroll team as a Senior Payroll Implementation Specialist focused on the Netherlands and Belgium. You will own the end‑to‑end onboarding of new clients, applying deep local legislative knowledge to ensure every go‑live is accurate, compliant and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full implementation lifecycle from client kickoff through go‑live for Dutch and Belgian payroll.
• Collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders and payroll software providers to gather requirements and configure solutions.
• Perform payroll reconciliations, parallel‑run validation and post‑implementation support.
• Continuously improve implementation processes and documentation.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on payroll experience in the Netherlands, covering loonheffing, premies, Zorgverzekeringswet and the 30% ruling.
• Several years of hands‑on payroll experience in Belgium, including ONSS/RSZ, Dimona and sector CLA structures.
• Proven track record of managing payroll implementation projects from start to finish.
• Strong communication skills in English and fluency in Dutch or French.
• Structured, detail‑oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, fully remote environment.
