Senior Manager - Client Service Delivery (Accounting)

About the role

The Apex Group is seeking a Senior Manager to lead client service delivery for accounting across its corporate services operations. The role combines client relationship management, team leadership, and regulatory reporting within a global fund administration environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, anticipating issues and delivering effective solutions.
• Oversee all accounting and administrative functions for legal entities and funds, including invoicing, payments, AR/AP, reconciliations, fixed assets and miscellaneous bookings.
• Produce and quality‑review client reports, handling day‑to‑day queries from the team.
• Manage regulatory and management reporting, representing clients with regulators.
• Lead and develop a multi‑jurisdictional team, ensuring performance, resource allocation and delivery standards.
• Conduct board meetings and contribute to business‑plan implementation, identifying growth opportunities.
• Participate in client proposals, fee negotiations and satisfaction reviews.
• Drive the design and implementation of new accounting systems and procedures.

Required profile

• Significant experience in fund administration or corporate services, preferably at senior manager level.
• Proven ability to manage teams across different jurisdictions (e.g., India, South Africa).
• Strong client‑facing skills with a track record of delivering high‑quality service.
• Experience preparing regulatory and management reports.
