About the role

Project Accountants is seeking a Senior Manager Business Development to drive growth of its financial services offering. This senior, client‑facing position will work closely with senior leadership to shape and execute commercial initiatives across Luxembourg and broader European markets.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead business development activities in Luxembourg and selected international markets.
  • Identify, develop, and pursue new opportunities in financial services, fund administration, accounting, and corporate services.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with institutional clients, funds, corporate structures, and industry stakeholders.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from market research and prospecting to negotiation and deal closure.
  • Contribute to commercial growth strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Support and mentor the business development team to ensure consistent performance.
  • Collaborate with senior management and marketing to enhance brand positioning and market engagement.
  • Leverage existing industry networks to support growth initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate reporting on pipeline activity, conversion rates, and revenue performance.

Required profile

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, client acquisition, or commercial roles within financial services, fund administration, accounting, corporate services, or alternative investment sectors.
  • Strong network and established presence in the Luxembourg financial services market.
  • Proven track record of building client relationships and delivering revenue growth.
  • Deep understanding of Luxembourg’s financial services ecosystem and regulatory environment.
  • Experience working with international clients and cross‑border structures.
  • Previous experience leading or supporting business development teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercially aware with a strategic, relationship‑driven approach.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
