Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to support our group companies in Luxembourg and across Europe. The role will ensure legal compliance, manage contracts and provide business‑relevant legal advice in a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and manage commercial contracts such as sales, promotional, distribution, manufacturing agreements, NDAs, intercompany and finance agreements.
• Provide ongoing support on contract renewals, amendments and terminations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal governance.
• Coordinate with the Head of Legal and Legal Officer on legal counselling, corporate governance, legal opinions and maintain relevant records.
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes affecting local entities and support cross‑departmental risk assessments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of legal services, including the use of a Legal AI tool.

Required profile

• Master of Law (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of experience in a commercial, in‑house legal role.
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, preferably in FMCG or regulated categories.
• Strong knowledge of Civil, Commercial, Competition, Transport and EU law; ability to conduct legal research.
• Fluent English; additional German, French or other languages are a strong advantage.
• Ability to provide pragmatic, timely legal advice and to work collaboratively with business stakeholders.
