Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor acts as a technical and analytical specialist, delivering independent, risk‑based assurance and advisory services across the assigned region. The role supports governance, risk management and internal controls by evaluating key processes, identifying emerging risks and recommending improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of complex audits, defining scope, criteria and resource needs.
• Conduct continuous risk assessment across strategic, operational, financial and IT domains.
• Test manual and automated controls, including ITGCs and application controls, using narratives and walkthroughs.
• Drive adoption of analytics, automation and digital tools for data‑driven testing and advanced data modelling.
• Lead SOx compliance activities: design assessments, effectiveness testing, deficiency evaluation and remediation coaching.
• Prepare audit findings and reports that link root causes to business impact and strategic objectives.
• Execute agile rapid‑cycle reviews and advisory engagements to support process redesign and digital transformation.
• Coach, mentor and review work of junior and intermediate auditors.
• Build strong relationships with management, process owners and assurance teams.

Required profile

• Advanced technical expertise and deep business acumen.
• Strong analytical depth to evaluate processes and identify risks.
• Proven ability to lead audit segments or full engagements.
• Experience guiding junior auditors and influencing management toward remediation.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
