Senior HR Officer – HR Administration & Operations

About the role

We are a family‑owned Luxembourgish company operating in the fast‑moving consumer goods sector, focusing on tobacco, vaping, CBD and other nicotine products. To support our growth across Europe and beyond, we are looking for a Senior HR Officer who will manage day‑to‑day HR administration while also contributing to strategic people initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Produce monthly HR reports and statistics.
• Serve as the first point of contact for managers on employee‑related matters, including disciplinary issues and exits.
• Support recruitment processes, from coordination to onboarding.
• Organise and coordinate training activities.
• Manage daily HR operations such as time‑tracking review, data entry and personnel administration.
• Prepare employment contracts and maintain HR documentation.
• Coordinate medical appointments and monitor absences.
• Assist payroll preparation and ensure data accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably in a demanding or industrial environment.
• Fluent in French and German; English is an asset.
• Strong background in learning & development and training coordination.
• Solid knowledge of HR operations, including onboarding, off‑boarding and contract drafting.
• Highly autonomous, proactive and solution‑oriented.
