Senior HR Officer – HR Administration & Operations

About the role

We are a family‑owned Luxembourgish company operating in the fast‑moving consumer goods sector, focusing on tobacco, vaping, CBD and other nicotine products. We are seeking a Senior HR Officer to support our growth by handling day‑to‑day HR administration and contributing to strategic people initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Produce monthly HR reports and statistics.
• Serve as the first point of contact for managers on employee‑related matters, including disciplinary issues and exits.
• Support recruitment processes through coordination, follow‑up and onboarding.
• Organise and coordinate training activities.
• Manage daily HR operations such as time‑tracking review, data entry and personnel administration.
• Prepare and manage employment contracts and related HR documentation.
• Coordinate medical appointments and monitor absences.
• Assist payroll preparation and ensure data accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably in a demanding or industrial environment.
• Fluent in French and German; English is an asset.
• Strong background in learning & development or training coordination with a hands‑on approach.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR operations (onboarding, off‑boarding, contract drafting, administration).
• Ability to work in a hybrid HR Officer / HR Business Partner capacity.
• Highly autonomous, proactive, solution‑oriented with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders.
