Senior HR Officer – Banking Sector

About the role

Our client is an established banking institution located in the heart of Luxembourg's financial centre and part of a reputable international group. To strengthen its HR team, the company is currently looking for an experienced Senior HR Officer. You will join an international and multicultural working environment and take responsibility for a broad range of HR matters, with regular interaction with both employees and management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth integration of new employees.
• Handle day-to-day HR administration, including employment contracts and employee documentation.
• Collect and review payroll variables and coordinate with the relevant stakeholders.
• Act as a key HR point of contact for employees and managers.
• Ensure HR practices and documentation comply with Luxembourg labour regulations.
• Contribute to the improvement of HR processes and internal procedures.

Required profile

• Approximately 3 to 5 years of HR experience in Luxembourg.
• Professional HR experience within the banking sector in Luxembourg.
• Fluent in French and English; Portuguese or Spanish would be considered an advantage.
• Good understanding of Luxembourg labour law and HR practices.
• Organized, autonomous and comfortable managing several priorities simultaneously.
• Demonstrates discretion, professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and enjoy working in an international environment.
