Senior GL Accountant – Family Office

About the role

We are looking for a Senior GL Accountant to join our family office team. Operating across multiple entities and jurisdictions, you will own the general ledger processes and play a key role in month‑end close, statutory reporting, and audit preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger for several legal entities.
• Prepare and post complex journal entries, including accruals, intercompany eliminations and investment‑related adjustments.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and produce timely financial statements.
• Reconcile key balance‑sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Support internal and external reporting, management reports and year‑end statutory accounts.
• Collaborate with finance, tax, legal and treasury teams to ensure accurate accounting of business activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements and support financial system enhancements.
• Liaise with external auditors, service providers and tax advisors.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in‑house or within a trust environment.
• Experience with financial services, private equity or multi‑entity structures is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organized and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Professional discretion and integrity.
