Senior Fund Manager – Renewables

About the role

We are seeking a senior fund manager to lead our renewable energy investment funds. The role will be based in our Luxembourg office (or Hamburg) and will serve as the primary point of contact for investors, responsible for fund growth and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and ongoing management of clean‑energy investment funds and mandates.
• Construct and optimise portfolios through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Oversee fund‑level finance operations, including liquidity, capital planning and portfolio monitoring.
• Act as the main investor interface, supporting investor committees and collaborating with sales on pitches and communications.
• Assess, structure and execute new investments, including SPA negotiation and portfolio rebalancing.
• Continuously evaluate performance drivers to enhance risk‑return profile.
• Manage fund administration processes such as audits, resolutions and data governance.
• Secure equity and debt funding in partnership with treasury and sales.
• Drive automation and digitalisation of fund and portfolio management processes.
• Develop best‑practice materials and provide training across asset classes.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments and market dynamics in renewable energy.
• Represent the fund on board mandates for portfolio companies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years professional experience within an AIFM, asset manager or advisory firm.
• University degree in business, economics or a related investment field.
• High level of initiative, independence and strong organisational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA, ACCA) are a plus.
