Senior Fund Controller - Private Equity

About the role

KR Recruitment is seeking a Senior Fund Controller for a leading private equity firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting, reporting, and compliance for multiple funds, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial information to investors and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Review accounting records, financial reports and investor statements.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Lux GAAP, US GAAP and UK GAAP.
• Consolidate group financials and coordinate year‑end audits.
• Analyse data for investor relations and respond to investor queries.
• Oversee tax, regulatory, AIFMD and BCL reporting to ensure full compliance.
• Manage capital calls, distributions and support board processes, including review of board minutes.
• Support new fund structures and transactions in collaboration with legal teams.
• Maintain KYC compliance and supervise hedging strategies.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with at least 6 years of experience in private equity or alternative investment funds.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent written and spoken English, collaborative team player.
• Motivated, dependable and capable of prioritising multiple tasks.
