Senior Fund Accountant – Private Equity/Real Estate

About the role

IQ Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Fund Accountant specialized in Private Equity and Real Estate funds to join its Luxembourg team. You will be responsible for accurate NAV calculations, accounting record maintenance, and providing financial expertise to prestigious investment fund clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform NAV calculations and maintain precise accounting records for alternative investment funds.
• Oversee monthly/quarterly NAV validation and ensure compliance with operating memoranda deadlines.
• Train, supervise, and support new fund accounting staff in daily tasks.
• Execute daily and monthly cash and stock reconciliations with custodian confirmations.
• Analyse accounting matters, prepare responses, and provide ad‑hoc financial expertise.
• Review and analyse financial statements and coordinate audit support.
• Collaborate with internal departments to share information for NAV reviews.

Required profile

• Legal authorization to work in Luxembourg.
• Relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably within alternative investment funds (Private Equity, Real Estate, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Detail‑oriented, professional self‑starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent English; French or additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel.
• Familiarity with fund accounting systems such as Multifonds, eFront, Geneva, Investran, and GP3.
