Senior Business Financial Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Business Financial Analyst to lead financial reporting and accounting operations in a dynamic, international environment. The role will focus on Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS compliance, support audits, and drive ERP implementation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of accounting records, financial reporting, and statutory filings.
• Manage month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
• Participate in or lead ERP implementation projects, including system enhancements and process optimisation.
• Analyse financial data and provide insights to support business decision‑making.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with finance, IT, operations and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and automation efforts.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in an accounting or controlling position.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA or CPA (advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS.
• Proven experience with ERP systems, preferably with implementation exposure.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior team management or supervisory experience is desirable but not mandatory.
