Senior Associate Lawyer – Real Estate, Construction & Urban Planning

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate Lawyer to strengthen our Real Estate, Construction & Urban Planning practice in Luxembourg. The role involves advising a diverse client base on complex transactions and regulatory matters, while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Advising on acquisition and sale of land and real‑estate properties, including due diligence and contract negotiation.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating lease, property‑management and long‑term lease agreements.
• Preparing construction service agreements, architect contracts and assisting with building permits and licences.
• Providing urban‑planning and environmental advice, negotiating agreements with municipalities and liaising with local authorities.
• Supporting dispute‑resolution matters in construction, lease or environmental disputes.
• Collaborating with the Corporate & M&A team on real‑estate aspects of share and asset deals.
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.

Required profile

• Member of the Luxembourg Bar or another European Bar.
• At least 7 years of solid experience in real‑estate and construction law within a reputable law firm.
• Excellent written and spoken French and English; German knowledge is an asset.
• Strong analytical and client‑facing skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, lead projects and develop junior team members.
• Team‑player and client‑oriented attitude.
