Senior Accountant – Luxembourg Finance Team

About the role

This senior accountant position is based in Luxembourg and supports an international investment platform focused on private equity and infrastructure assets. You will be at the heart of the finance function, handling day‑to‑day accounting for a portfolio of holding companies and contributing to group consolidation and closing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements under IFRS and Luxembourg GAAP.
• Manage daily accounting for infrastructure holding entities.
• Participate actively in consolidation and group reporting.
• Prepare and/or review Luxembourg corporate income tax and VAT returns.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory and reporting requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to finance‑related process improvements and projects.
• Collaborate with treasury, valuation and other internal teams.

Required profile

• Approximately 5 years of audit or accounting experience in Luxembourg (fiduciary, asset manager or similar).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Luxembourg GAAP; consolidation experience is a plus.
• Exposure to UK GAAP or other GAAPs is advantageous.
• Solid experience with Luxembourg tax and VAT filings.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Hands‑on, proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.
• Strong team spirit and communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Valid Luxembourg work permit.
