Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a highly capable and hands‑on finance professional to join our Luxembourg office. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a central role in managing accounting, treasury, tax compliance, and financial coordination across multiple Luxembourg entities while also supporting family‑office and founder‑related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for several Luxembourg companies under Lux GAAP, including bookkeeping, monthly closings, intercompany reconciliations and annual accounts.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, banks and external service providers, ensuring compliance with Luxembourg regulations.
• Support the preparation of consolidated financial information under IFRS and participate in group reporting and consolidation processes.
• Monitor daily treasury operations, prepare cash‑flow forecasts, manage payment cycles and maintain banking relationships.
• Handle Luxembourg tax compliance, including VAT filings, corporate income tax and local reporting obligations.
• Assist with family‑office and founder matters such as personal income and expense tracking, personal tax coordination and confidential financial requests.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience in Luxembourg.
• Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP, VAT and corporate income tax processes.
• Exposure to IFRS and consolidation is a strong advantage.
• Experience managing multiple entities simultaneously in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent organizational, follow‑up and discretion skills.

Required skills

• Strong experience with Sage BOB accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Familiarity with consolidation and reporting tools (plus).
