Senior Accountant / Controller – German Speaking (Alternative Investments)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant / Controller to join a world‑leading alternative investment manager. The role focuses on accounting, financial reporting and controlling for Luxembourg companies and portfolio entities across infrastructure, renewable energy, private equity, private debt and real estate, working closely with global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accounting under IFRS and Luxembourg GAAP for LuxCos and portfolio entities.
• Prepare financial statements, reporting and planning in coordination with global entities.
• Operate controlling and monitoring tools for KPIs, cash flows and accounting.
• Approve payments and cash flows for LuxCos and portfolio entities.
• Provide transaction support and ensure accurate consolidation.

Required profile

• Recognised accounting qualification (e.g., university degree in business administration).
• 6–8 years of experience in finance, investments, valuation, controlling or accounting.
• Fluent German and English.
• Knowledge of banking and/or funds business.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and Luxembourg GAAP.
