Sales Associate (Athlete) – Retail Store

About the role

As an Athlete at Nike, you will be the heartbeat of the store, delivering a premium consumer experience by matching customers with the right products and services. You will also support back‑of‑house operations and help maintain an inspiring sales floor.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service using strong sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Operate the cash register, assist with shipping and receiving, stock the sales floor, and perform cleaning duties.
• Support visual merchandising and act as a product knowledge resource for teammates.
• Assist senior staff in training entry‑level teammates and contribute to loss‑prevention efforts.
• Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues to foster an inclusive environment.

Required profile

• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb ladders and stand for extended periods.
• One or more years of retail or customer‑service experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work varied retail hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Passion for the Nike brand and a willingness to learn.
