Recruitment & Training Trainee (HR)

About the role

This 6‑month trainee position supports the Human Resources department in both recruitment and training activities. The role is designed for a university student with a school‑convention who wants hands‑on experience in HR administration.

Key responsibilities

• Register and monitor external training courses, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
• Organise in‑house training events, handling invitations, attendance sheets, feedback forms, documentation, invoice verification and filing.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date training database and prepare co‑funding applications for INFPC.
• Draft and publish job advertisements internally and externally.
• Screen applications, schedule interviews and keep the recruitment database current on a daily basis.
• Produce regular reports and statistics related to recruitment and training.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving recruitment and training processes.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
• Must have a valid school‑convention for a minimum of six months.
• Excellent written English and French.
• Strong communication skills, client‑focused and able to interact professionally at all levels.
• High degree of rigor, accuracy, confidentiality and effective time‑management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
