Property Accountant – Real Estate

About the role

CBRE is seeking a Property Accountant to join its Property Management team in Luxembourg. You will be responsible for the financial management and reporting of a portfolio of office buildings, warehouses and shopping centres owned by third‑party investors.

Key responsibilities

• Support Property Managers with financial and administrative tasks.
• Implement and maintain financial management procedures and internal controls.
• Update the property database using systems such as Property V4 and Yardi.
• Process invoices (AP/AR), handle VAT declarations and manage invoicing.
• Reconcile bank statements, perform credit control and prepare payments.
• Produce internal and external financial and administrative reports.
• Invoice rents, common charges and taxes, and settle related accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Several years of experience in an accounting function (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, balance‑sheet, profit‑and‑loss statements and VAT.
• Interest in real‑estate assets and property management.
• Fluent French and very good written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Property V4 or Yardi software.
• Experience in AP/AR processing and VAT handling.
• Ability to produce accurate financial reports.
