Product Development Architect

About the role

The Product Development Architect will lead the design, testing and integration of satellite‑based products and services for a global, fast‑paced organization. Working within the SES Product Development Lifecycle, you will translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure seamless interoperability across technology domains.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture of assigned SES satellite products and services.
• Design, test and integrate system components to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Act as system engineer on initiatives, guaranteeing interoperability between service components.
• Collaborate with product managers, vertical teams, internal groups and external contractors to define and deliver product architectures.
• Participate in testing and integration activities, and interface with vendors to align requirements.
• Support operational planning, service transition and training for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with a strong curiosity for emerging technologies.
• Analytical mindset capable of drawing conclusions from data and metrics.
• Ability to set priorities, work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience working iteratively with stakeholders, preferably using Agile/Scrum processes.

Required skills

• System engineering experience in satellite‑based solutions.
• Proficiency in testing, integration and interoperability of complex services.
• Familiarity with vendor management and product lifecycle processes.
