Senior Network Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Network Engineer you will join the Foundation Services team, supporting a multi‑country infrastructure that includes network, storage, backup, virtualization and IT room facilities. You will ensure high‑availability network services and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, support and operate the network infrastructure for the client.
• Ensure integrity and high availability of network services to deliver maximum performance.
• Install, deploy, manage and operate networking assets such as routing, switching, WAN, LAN, ACI and Wi‑Fi.
• Configure and troubleshoot complex technologies including MPLS, BGP, OSPF and EIGRP.
• Collaborate with team members and vendors to resolve operational issues and participate in problem management.
• Participate in shift work rotation, 24/7 on‑call duties, major incident handling and post‑mortem reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in networking technologies.
• Subject‑matter expert able to articulate solutions verbally and in writing.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with the ability to produce high‑quality documentation.
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English.

Required skills

• Routing and switching (LAN/WAN, ACI, Wi‑Fi).
• Protocols: MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IPSEC, HSRP, QoS, 802.11.
• Deep understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP models.
• Experience with network monitoring, diagnostic and analytics tools.
• Scripting and automation (e.g., Git, AAP).
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or higher.
• Knowledge of wireless, cloud and load‑balancer technologies.
