Portfolio Analyst

About the role

Kartesia, a leading European credit fund manager, is looking for a Portfolio Analyst to join its Portfolio Management team. Reporting to the Portfolio Associate Director, you will help ensure data integrity, support valuation processes, and contribute to the performance analysis of a €7.5bn multi‑strategy portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and reconcile portfolio data across internal tools and external servicers at both instrument and consolidated levels.
• Assist in valuation of fund investments together with the investment team, independent experts, and finance.
• Update financial fund models, produce key metrics, and run stress‑testing and levered‑return analyses.
• Support origination and ongoing analysis of fund financing, including equity bridge and asset‑based leverage, monitoring LTV ratios and concentration limits.
• Prepare investment reporting for quarterly investor updates and portfolio reviews.
• Help maintain compliance policies with CSSF and emerging regulations.
• Develop ad‑hoc analytics for fundraising requests and internal growth projects.
• Collaborate with the Finance team on hedging strategy implementation and ensure correct allocation of proceeds.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Economics or Business.
• 1–3 years of analytical experience in credit, portfolio management or asset‑management environments.
• Fluent English; additional European language is a plus.
