Network & Collaboration Engineer

About the role

Damovo helps organisations connect people, technology and business through communication and networking solutions. It is looking for a Network & Collaboration Engineer to join its Luxembourg team, working closely with customers and internal teams to deliver, support and improve their technology environments. A key focus is supporting one strategic customer, developing a deep understanding of their technology landscape and becoming a trusted technical partner.

Key responsibilities

• Support, configure and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and network security environments, including routing, switching, firewall and collaboration technologies
• Analyse and troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes and implement solutions
• Support the deployment, configuration and maintenance of customer environments
• Understand the customer's existing technology environment and technical requirements
• Work with customers to explain solutions and provide high-level technical service
• Collaborate with internal engineering, project and service teams to deliver customer solutions
• Take part in technical projects, upgrades and migrations
• Document configurations, incidents, solutions and technical changes
• Keep up to date with technologies and contribute to customer retention through technical performance and relationships

Required profile

• Experience in a technical engineering or IT infrastructure role, ideally in networking, unified communications or collaboration technologies
• Relevant technical qualification or equivalent professional experience
• Fluent French is required; English and/or German would be an advantage
• Willingness to learn the technologies used in key customer environments

Required skills

• Good understanding of data networking fundamentals and practical troubleshooting experience
• Ability to analyse problems, find root causes and recommend solutions
• Confidence communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with colleagues and customers
• Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MS-900 or CompTIA Network+ are an advantage
