Security Managed Services Engineer (L4)

About the role

NTT DATA is looking for a Security Managed Services Engineer (L4) to manage and resolve escalated technical incidents so that clients' security infrastructure stays operational. The engineer works independently yet collaboratively, investigates issues proactively and aims to meet and exceed service level agreements. The role is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Implement projects to replace or upgrade current infrastructure with new versions or solutions, and analyse, recommend and implement new cybersecurity technologies.
• Monitor operational infrastructure using standard tools and processes to respond to incidents and requests within agreed SLAs.
• Monitor security events, investigate and respond to security incidents, and assist in post-incident analysis and remediation.
• Create and maintain documentation of security configurations, policies, procedures and incidents.
• Work with IT, Network and Application Development teams to integrate security measures across the organisation.
• Stay up to date with emerging threats and best practices and recommend security improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• Proven experience in network and application security.
• Fluent in English; native from a NATO country, with a valid NATO Secret Clearance a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Palo Alto, Bluecoat, F5 (LTM, ASM, APM), ASA VPN or Splunk.
• Firewall management, intrusion detection, content filtering, web application security and VPN technologies.
• PKI design and management, digital certificate issuance and secure key management.
