MEAL Officer (Consultant, Part‑time)

About the role

ADA is seeking a part‑time MEAL Officer to support its Knowledge Management team on the Smallholder Sustainability Upscaling Programme (SSNUP). The role is a consultancy contract (50% FTE) running from 1 September 2026 to 30 April 2029, with the option to work from Luxembourg or remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assist program partners in defining and monitoring project KPIs.
• Coordinate beneficiary surveys to capture project outcomes.
• Conduct interviews with local organisations benefiting from the projects.
• Organise online workshops to disseminate knowledge and promote stakeholder learning.
• Identify topics for knowledge products based on project themes and partner interests.
• Lead or coordinate the production of knowledge products, including data analysis, synthesis, writing, and collaboration with a graphic designer.
• Support the planning of annual face‑to‑face workshops for all programme stakeholders.
• Participate in additional Knowledge Management activities as required.

Required profile

• Experience in monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) within development or agricultural projects.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with programme teams and external partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Survey design and implementation.
• Interview techniques and stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge product development (reports, briefs, visual materials).
