MEAL Officer (Consultant) – Knowledge Management

About the role

ADA is seeking a part‑time MEAL Officer to support its Knowledge Management team on the Smallholder Sustainability Upscaling Programme (SSNUP). The role combines monitoring, evaluation, learning and knowledge‑sharing activities, and can be performed from Luxembourg or remotely, with occasional travel to project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Assist programme partners in defining and tracking project KPIs.
• Coordinate beneficiary surveys to capture project outcomes.
• Conduct interviews with local organisations benefiting from the interventions.
• Organise and facilitate online workshops for stakeholder knowledge exchange.
• Identify topics for knowledge products based on programme priorities and partner interests.
• Lead or co‑produce knowledge products, including data analysis, synthesis and writing, in collaboration with a graphic designer.
• Support the planning of annual face‑to‑face workshops for peer learning and strategic reflection.
• Contribute to other Knowledge Management team activities as needed.

Required profile

• University degree in development economics, international cooperation, project management, economics or social sciences.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in project management, M&E or study production.
• Strong interest and knowledge of inclusive finance, agriculture and development issues.

Required skills

• Experience designing and analysing surveys.
• Ability to conduct qualitative interviews.
• Proficiency in drafting reports and knowledge products.
• Familiarity with online workshop facilitation tools.
