Market Analyst Trainee – Recruitment Days (m/f/d)

About the role

PwC Luxembourg is seeking a Market Analyst Trainee to join its Market Research Centre. The role is part of a two‑day Recruitment Days event that accelerates the hiring process, offering candidates the chance to receive an offer within 48 hours. You will support the creation of thought‑leadership reports, surveys and client assignments covering financial services markets across Europe and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Collect qualitative and quantitative data from business databases and recognised sources.
• Analyse data on assigned research topics.
• Monitor and disseminate relevant articles, news and industry developments.
• Understand the regulatory environment of asset management and banking.
• Prepare and update presentations for internal and external use.
• Assist senior analysts in drafting reports for client assignments and research projects.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in finance, economics or business administration and must complete a minimum six‑month internship.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple demands.
• Strong interest in the financial services sector, preferably with knowledge of European banking or asset management.
• Rigor, curiosity and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French or German is a plus.
