Manager, Accounting - Real Assets

About the role

The Manager, Accounting – Real Assets will lead the accounting team in delivering high‑quality client deliverables, overseeing fund setup, and ensuring compliance with Luxembourg regulations. You will act as the primary liaison between business units, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage workflow, delegate tasks, and coordinate with business unit leads.
• Oversee internal processing and review of client deliverables, ISAE 3402 controls, and procedures.
• Participate in weekly client calls and lead daily calls as needed.
• Review journal entries, trial balances, waterfall schedules, IRR calculations, and financial statements.
• Validate capital calls, distribution allocations, and related checklists.
• Coordinate preparation of consolidation packages and manage annual audit and tax processes.
• Ensure proper fund setup, including dashboards, footnote disclosures, and management fee calculations.
• Handle ad‑hoc requests such as audit confirmations and LP inquiries.
• Lead onboarding of new clients and fund setups.
• Train, coach, and evaluate team members; participate in hiring processes.

Required profile

• BAC+3 in accounting, finance or a recognized accounting qualification.
• 7+ years of fund administration experience in Luxembourg.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg corporate laws and fund structures (e.g., SOPARFI, SICAR, SIF, RAIF, SLP).
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing processes and procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi (or similar fund administration systems).
• Experience using accounting and fund administration software.
